Master Shahveisi’s Tanburs:
 
 Below, you have the translation of Master ShahVeisi's explanations about his artwork
ShahVeisi’s Tanbur: All carvings and making process is done by hand only.
Wood Quality: The body is carved by hand and made of Mulberry wood and is always with the same tree for Top part ( Especial care given for this issue, for top Tanburs). The neck or handle is made of walnut wood.
For special Tanburs(like the one to be sold), the woods are so old and always chosen from very old doors or similar things.
Also, special care given to the symmetric pattern of side body and top texture, which affects the quality usually. Of course it would be so difficult to find the right pattern of woods(may be 1 out of 10 carved side bodies) . As an example, the one to be sold, is dramatically beautiful and starring, due to it's symmetric pattern.
Frets: They are hand made of master Shahveisi with specific procedure, learnt by his ancestors.
Body Pattern: The pattern of body for smaller Tanburs is always taken from his grandfather, Master Ebrahim Kaveh, and for the big ones, is a combination of Master Cahngiz and Master Asadollah Gahvareh( like the one on sale).
ShahVeisi’s Tanbur is recommended and approved by Maestro Keikhosro PourNazeri.
It is also possible to include Master ShahVeisi's signature and certificate, based on request.
